Meet Melissa.

Melissa Snell

I have a passion for educating, supporting, and encouraging others on their journey.  My career started as a High School Credit Recovery teacher, and I believe this is when I developed a passion for educating, serving, and advocating for individuals that are struggling or feel separate in some way from their peers and community.  Throughout my career as an educator, I served individuals from diverse cultural, socio-economic, and age groups.  I gained an appreciation for diversity and a desire to understand and accept the perspectives and lived experiences of others.   

I have had many ups and downs, achievements, triumphs, and opportunities for learning.  I have experienced hardships, trauma, and even rock-bottom on more than one occasion.  I am a believer that wisdom and compassion come to us through our lived experiences.  I have been fortunate to experience difficult moments and rise above them with the support of professionals, my family, loved ones, and my own Life Coach who has helped me to get into alignment and live my life to the fullest.  This enables me to empathize, support, and coach you along your journey.

  • Coaching sessions can be virtual or in-person. I am located in Lamesa, TX and am available for coaching and student advocacy sessions in the Panhandle and West Texas regions.

    In-person coaching sessions can be scheduled in your area, in a safe and comfortable setting. If you prefer in-person coaching, I would be happy to work with you to make arrangements. Travel outside of my area is possible, but will require additional planning and travel fees.
